Kenny Rogers Holiday Tour

The annual Kenny Rogers Holiday Tour is gearing up to start on November 25th in Aurora, IL.  The Holiday Tour will run through Dec 23rd when it ends in Westbury, NY.  Kenny Rogers will mostly be playing smaller venues so this would be a great time to take in a show.  You will be close to the stage with out a doubt!

Peter Bjorn and John add 2007 and 2008 dates

Indie-pop group Peter Bjorn and John (what a name) have added some dates to their 2007 tour, and it will also stretch into 2008.  The new tour will kick off November 23rd in Houston, Texas.  The guys are hit and miss with fans.  Some people really love them, some can’t stand them.  But if you are one of their fans you have to appreciate their music and their message.  Hopefully you will get a chance to catch one of their concerts if you are one of their fans!

Daughtry extending Fall tour through December

Rock band Daughtry have released a press release saying that they have extended their current fall tour, and it will now stretch all the way through December!  This is one band that I have been hoping to see, but things haven’t worked out for myself.  I hope that everyone else out there has been able to get to a Daughtry Concert, because if not, you are missing out like I am!

Blues Legend B.B. King ready for long tour

The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer has released more than 50 albums in his career, the latest one titled “80″ to mark his landmark birthday. The collection of duets won a Grammy last year for Best Traditional Blues Album.

In total, King has 15 Grammy statues on his mantel, including a lifetime achievement award. He’s also been honored with the Presidential Medal of Freedom and was recently given an honorary doctor of music degree from Providence, RI’s Brown University.

Reggae group 311 recently finished their tour schedule for the upcoming tour with Matisyahu. The “Summer Unity Tour” begins June 21 in Tucson, AZ, with American-Jewish reggae artist Matisyahu providing support on most dates, along with another act yet to be announced. Korn’s Family Values Tour

The dates are in for this summer’s hard rockin’ Family Values Tour, which has Korn and Evanescence headlining.The 30-city tour is set to start July 20 in Maryland Heights, MO, and make its way across the US, finishing in early September with four shows in California. The caravan of rock bands will also stop in Toronto July 31.

The festival’s fifth tour will also feature Atreyu, Flyleaf, Trivium and Hellyeah, the new band comprising Pantera drummer Vinnie Paul Abbott and members of Mudvayne and Nothingface. Newcomers Nuerosonic and Droid will round out the bill. More surprises, including special activities for this year’s village, are still to come, according to a press release.

As they did last year, tour organizers will offer $9.99 lawn seats. Tickets go on sale beginning April 28.

John Legend adds more tour dates

Grammy-winning singer/pianist John Legend has added a new dates to his tour with singer Corinne Bailey Rae extending the trek through the month of May.Legend and Rae will cover mostly Southwest and West Coast locations with the new dates, which are shown below. The tour, which kicked off in early April, is scheduled to resume Tuesday night (4/17) in Toronto.

Bow Wow ready for his Arena Tour

Bow Wow is getting ready to kick off that arena tour he promised fans last December when he released his fifth studio album, “Price of Fame,” and played only a handful of shows.The 20-year-old rap star will bring several guests along on the Price of Fame Tour, including rappers Mims, Huey and Crime Mob, and R&B singers Lloyd and Sammie.

The outing rolls out April 6 with a show in Cincinnati. From there, the performers will hit cities in the eastern half of the US through May 27. Dates are listed below.

Willie Nelson expands tour

The dates just keep rolling in for Willie Nelson. The country-music legend, who recently finished a US tour with Merle Haggard and Ray Price to support the trio’s new album, “Last of the Breed,” now has headlining shows that extend into late July.Following gigs this weekend in Oklahoma and Texas, Nelson will take a two-week break and be back April 15 with a five-show run at San Francisco’s Fillmore Auditorium. After a May 5 performance at Indio, CA’s inaugural Stagecoach Festival, the Red-Headed Stranger will take another breather before hitting the East Coast June 11 and then taking off for a string of 10 shows in Canada. July finds Nelson back in the West and Midwest.

Dave Matthews Band Tour Information

Dave Matthews Band has its summer plans ready, which include an extensive US outing.Dates get underway July 8 in Bridgeview, IL, and take the band from coast to coast, ending with a five-show California run in late September/early October. The trek includes two-night stands in Mansfield, MA; Hartford, CT; Camden, NJ; Noblesville, IN; East Troy, WI; West Palm Beach, FL; and Los Angeles. The band will also do a three-day gig–with an option for camping–at George, WA’s famed Gorge Amphitheatre Aug. 31-Sept. 2.

Opening acts that will take turns on the tour include Guster, Robert Earl Keen, Stephen Marley, Robert Randolph and the Family Band, The Roots, Xavier Rudd, Toots & the Maytals, Umphrey’s McGee, The Wailers, and Pete Yorn.

Velvet Revolver ready to rock n roll in May

Velvet Revolver TicketVelvet Revolver getting ready to head out on a world tour that precedes the release of its sophomore set, “Libertad.”

VR will start with a handful of mid-April shows in South America and then spend May in the US, playing gigs from California to New York and stopping off in Toronto along the way. The band will then head across the pond for a European trek that kicks off June 1 in Germany. North American shows are listed below.

Earlier this month, VR vocalist Scott Weiland told MTV News the band would be back in North America at the end of the summer for another run of dates.

Justin Timberlake adding more US dates

Following the European run of his Summer Tour, Justin Timberlake will be back in North America for an additional 15 dates.The second North American leg, which will include a special appearance by Timbaland, will kick off Aug. 6 in Timberlake’s hometown of Memphis. He plans on hitting many cities and also going into Canada for some concerts.  So you Canadians get ready to buy your tickets!

The European tour begins April 24 with a two-night stand in Belfast, Ireland, and will end in early July with multiple shows in London.
