2012 Super Bowl Tickets

It’s the New England Patriots vs New York Giants in the 2012 Super Bowl. Super Bowl XLVI will be played in Indianapolis, Indiana and of course tickets are only available to the general public via the secondary market. That has fans looking at Stubhub, Ticket City, and other online brokers if they want to attend the big game. Currently buy ins are over $2000 per seat and that has you sitting in the 600 level of Lucas Oil Stadium.

So would you spend that much money to watch from a nose bleed seat? Or would you rather stay at home on your couch? Currently there are people buying the tickets up so there is a lot of money going around. If you want to check out the current listings, check out Ticket City’s Super Bowl page.

NFL Tickets are moving quickly

With news that that the NFL lockout will soon be over with, fans are quickly getting season tickets and single game tickets for their favorite teams. Most fans like myself were waiting things out to see what would happen with the lockout before spending hundreds or thousands of dollars on tickets. With the season quickly upon us, there are a lot of good deals out there as ticket brokers and general fans selling extra tickets don’t have as much time to move their tickets.

I’m a 49ers fan and have already picked up some additional tickets at TicketCity where I came across some great deals for games. I suggest you check out the offerings for your favorite teams at Ticket City as well.

Bowl game tickets moving very slow

This years bowl games are not selling as quick as in past years and corporate sponsors are wondering whats going on. I know plenty of universities are not even selling out their own ticket allotment due to expensive travel or having already played the bowl opponent during the regular season. Heck Uconn can’t even sell their allotment to the Fiesta Bowl where the Huskies will be taking on the Oklahoma Sooner. OU was even having a hard time moving their tickets.

So does the BCS hurt ticket sales or would the NCAA be better off going to a playoff where they would take their cut of ticket sales but the higher ranked teams would have home field? Wow that would sure sell tickets and the tickets on the secondary market would be high priced I’d imagine. Just like a big regular season home game except if you lose your season is over.

Sounds like a winning scenario too me.

But no, right now people can get into games below face value for big games and the stands will have empty seats. This does not look good on tv, and does not make the two universities look good either.

Check out how low some of the prices are at Ticket City and grab a few tickets and catch a game for very cheap!

Sports Tickets and Summer Time Events

Hope everyone is having a great Summer thus far and getting out and seeing some sporting events and also some concerts. Major League Baseball is in full swing and almost to their half way point and the All Star Break. The World Cup is getting down to their final eight and final four teams and will soon have their championship played in South Africa. NFL and NCAA Football is just around the corner and tickets are selling left and right for both of those events.

So what events have you made it to so far? Are you paying less for your tickets with the down economy etc? It’s very easy to get into Wrigley Field to watch a Cubs game right now as ticket prices have dropped as the team has struggled. Remember, buy the week of the game or concert and almost every time you will be paying less than face value. An example of that was a few weeks ago when the White Sox visited Wrigley Field to take on the Cubs. It was right after the Blackhawks had just won the Stanley Cup and baseball was the only show in town yet I sold multiple tickets for $20 bucks a pop and even gave away four of them to a friend.

Right now the secondary market for baseball tickets is a buyers market no doubt about it. For the best deals, head on over to Ticket City and take a look at their current inventory. While you are there, it’s never to early to check out their NFL Tickets and College Football Tickets either.

Spring Training Tickets Going on Sale

Hey everyone, I just wanted to let you all know that some of the major league baseball teams are starting to sell spring training tickets. Spring training is a fun time for fans to get close to their favorite players and the ticket prices are very affordable. Spring training takes place in Arizona and Florida. I recommend hitting up Arizona since the teams play a lot closer together and you will be able to visit more then one park a day if you wish too.

Check out your favorites teams website and see if the tickets have went on sale yet. If they haven’t, I expect them to in the next couple of weeks. So far I know that the Chicago Cubs, Boston Red Sox, and Philadelphia Phillies have went on sale or will be going on sale this week.

2008 Post season baseball tickets are on sale!

The division series of the 2008 baseball playoffs is all over with now and we are looking forward to the championship series. The Boston Red Sox will be facing off against the Tampa Bay Rays for the American League championship while the Los Angeles Dodgers and Philadelphia Phillies will be going after the National League championship.

Everyone knows how hard it is to get tickets to the playoff games and this year is no different. All four teams have already held their lotteries and sold their tickets for the ALCS and NLDS. Your best bet at this point is to buy on the secondary market and we recommend StubHub.

StubHub is the offical marketplace for major league baseball tickets. You can buy tickets right up to game time and sometimes even an hour into the game if you don’t mind missing the first few innings. Buy today and save only at StubHub!

My prediction for the World Series will be the Boston Red Sox vs the Philadelphia Phillies. If you want to buy your world series tickets early then you can do that here. Remember if the games are not played, StubHub will refund your money.

NFL Ticket and NCAA College Football Tickets

It is that time of year again as the NCAA College Football season and NFL Football seasons get underway. Tickets have been selling pretty good on the secondary markets due to so many people have season tickets for their favorite teams.

Big matchups like the USC vs Ohio State get the season going strong right away in the first couple weeks in college football. Tickets are sold out of course for most big games but don’t feel that you are left out becase there are always tickets available at StubHub.

The NFL market for tickets is always much greater then the college stadiums but you are also going to usually find yourself paying a higher price especially for Patriots, Giants, Jets, and Cowboys games. It is best to lock in your tickets right now even if the game is not until Novermber or December. Prices only go up as the big game gets near!

Leave us a comment if there is a certain game you are trying to find tickets for and we will do our best to help you out! And as always, please buy from our partners at StubHub where every ticket transaction is 100% guranteed!
