Van Halen Tour Dates and Ticket Information

Legendary rockers Van Halen is hitting the road in 2012 and they have announced the tour dates for their 45 show tour that will spread through Canada and the United States. Front man David Lee Roth will be partaking in the tour as well. Ticket pre-sales will begin on Jan 10th with the on-sales starting Jan 14th. Ticket prices will run from $29.50 to $149.50 in most markets. Make sure to try and grab tickets during the pre-sales as I would expect the secondary market to be pretty strong during this tour. Especially in the big markets like New York City, Chicago and Los Angeles.

Lady Antebellum is ready to rock the stage for the remainder of 2011 and well into the 2012 year. The “Own the Night” tour is currently on the road in Texas as the conclude dates for this year, but they are actively adding dates to the tour for 2012 as well. Face value for the shows are ranging from $30 all the way to $100. So no matter the price, it looks like Lady Antebellum fans shouldn’t have any problems getting in to see a show.

Britney Spears Summer Tour

News came out this morning about the upcoming 2011 Summer Tour for Britney Spears. Fans all over the country have been waiting for the pop icon to release the tour dates and ticket information for quite a while and she surprised everyone this morning with the information. However all has not went as planned as Enrique Iglesias will not be taking part in the tour as people had originally thought. Inglesias has not said why at this time so people can only speculate that the two groups did not agree on something at the last minute.

However, the tour will still be going on as we have not heard otherwise. As of now, 26 arena dates are scheduled from June 17 at Power Balance Pavilion in Sacramento, CA, through August 13 at Air Canada Centre in Toronto, ON. Tickets will go on sale at Ticketmaster and be prepared to spend quite a bit of money as it looks like they will range from $96 all the way to $346.

The Straight to You Tour will kick off in late spring and go right up until the New Year so you fans should have plenty of chances to see a show. Two hot country acts are heating up their tour buses for this summer as they kicked off more presales for their fan club members and American Express members today Feb 15th. Taylor Switch and Keith Urban both had quite a few presales today and tickets were pretty easy to come buy if you were a member of their fan clubs. While the two super stars won’t be touring together, getting tickets to both of their shows would be a great way to spend the summer with friends.

Urban is hitting up a lot of his normal arenas and the same for Taylor. As good as both performers are going, they won’t have a problem selling out these arena’s so make sure you get your tickets early. Janet Jackson Upcoming Tour

Janet Jackson tickets went on sale over the weekend as she gears up for upcoming tour. Jackson will be touring the U.S. and Canada throughout March and April of 2011, performing a show that will be comprised of her greatest hits. Tickets go on sale this weekend for her shows in Washington DC, Toronto, Los Angeles, New York City, Las Vegas, and Chicago.

It will be interesting to see how well these tickets do and how well the tour goes. It will be the first tour for Janet in quite a while and the first for their whole family since the passing of her brother Michael. You just never know what you will be getting with the whole Jackson family.

Old time rocker Ozzy Osbourne is ready to hit the road behind his upcoming “Scream Tour” and so far 12 dates have been selected for the fall tour that will happen in November and December. Public onsales for the tour begin September 18, except tickets for Ozzy’s Toronto show, which will be available to the general public starting September 17. According to current listings on Ticketmaster.com, prices for the Canadian shows run from CA $29.50 up to CA $89.50. In the states, presently listed ticket prices run $36 to $81.50 (IZOD Center) and $49.50 to $89.50 (Madison Square Garden).

U2 has rescheduled postponed dates

U2 has announced that they have rescheduled the postponed shows that that did not happen due to lead singer Bono’s emergency back surgery. All 16 dates have been rescheduled hough the routing’s city order has been slightly modified. The tour will also close in a new city than previously planned. Rather than wrapping in East Rutherford, which has been charted for a July 20 gig at the New Meadowlands Stadium, U2 take its final bow a few nights later on July 23 at TCF Bank Stadium.

If you had already purchased tickets for the first dates, they will be honored for the new dates in the same city. There are also some tickets still available for the shows so head on over to Ticketmaster and see what is all available. Carrie Underwood has been winning award after award and she is not slowing down on the road at all. Underwood has been performing shows for her “Play On” album and has just announced more shows that will keep her on the road for the rest of the year.

Rihanna and Ke$ha team up for “Last Girl” tour

Fan club pre-sales and citigroup pre-sales have begun for the upcoming “Last Girl” tour starring Rihanna and pop/rocker Ke$ha. This is the North American tour behind Rihanna’s great album called R-rated. The set has produced three high-charting singles, including the most recent, “Rude Boy,” which sits atop Billboard’s Hot 100 for the third week in a row and helped Rihanna become the only female artist of the last decade to have six No. 1 singles in the US.

Ke$sha is doing very well herself with record sales and I feel that she is a great opening act for Rihanna.

Superstar Lady Gaga will soon be back in the US after touring over in Europe and she is kicking things off with four presales this morning over at Ticketmaster. Tickets will be available for shows in Boston, New York, Los Angeles and San Jose starting Tuesday morning.

It looks like all floor tickets will be general admission and she has also raised her prices from her last US tour when tickets were pretty cheap. Expect bigger venues and jacked up ticket prices on this leg of her tour. I don’t like that one bit especially the GA floor but I suppose as many problems as she had on her last tour this could also be a good thing for her and her management.

Tom Petty and the Heartbreaker Tickets

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers are hitting the road again this Summer and tickets are on sale now. Tom Petty fan club members were lucky enough to purchase tickets one day before everyone else and talking with some of those people they were able to get front row seats without any problems. The tickets were will call only so hopefully that will keep down some of the scalpers and resellers on this tour.

Expect to spend $50-75 for upper level seats and around $125-$150 per seat for lower level and floor tickets. I personally bought a pair of tickets for my local market today and was able to get Row 4 without any problems. They are even ticketfast tickets as I did not purchase through the fan club.

Onsales will happen on Saturday so be ready if you want Tom Petty Tickets!

Megastar Jay Z’s upcoming Spring tour is starting to go on sale this week. Citigroup presales started on Tuesday morning along with the Jay Z fan club sales. There are plenty of chances for fans to pick up tickets however as their are multiple presales going on all week through ticketmaster, music today and live nation.

Young Jeezy will provide opening support for the stops on the tour.

Tim McGraw prepares for long Spring / Summer tour

Country music singer Tim McGraw is finishing up the final details of his upcoming Spring / Summer tour that will be titled “Southern Voice”. Currently there are over 50 stops planned on the mega tour so McGraw and his crew are going to be very busy as they please their fans across the country.

Nashville trio Lady Antebellum will open all shows, with The Lost Trailers adding additional support from February through early April, and Love and Theft taking over as second openers beginning with the April 11 show in Orange Beach, AL.

Jay Z adds on to upcoming tour

Megastar rapper and producer Jay Z has announced some new stops for his upcoming fall tour and also says who will be the opening performers on a the tour. N.E.R.D will be an opening act on the tour as well as young rappers Wale and J. Cole.

New stops in the Blueprint 3 tour have been added in Ypsilanti, MI (10/21); Philadelphia (10/23); Fresno, CA (11/7); and Lubbock, TX (11/21). The tour is mostly stopping by college campuses and Jay Z is giving the kids at school some loving. He will also be making some stops in bigger arenas up in Canada.

Jordin Sparks set to tour with Britney Spears

Pop star Britney Spears will have a new guest on the second leg of her North American Tour as teen sensation Jordin Sparks has signed on too “The Circus” tour. Sparks, who at 19 years old became the youngest winner of “American Idol” in 2007, will appear on all but the first two dates of the tour, which kicks off Aug. 20 in Hamilton, Ontario.

I think Sparks is a great addition to The Circus tour. She should be able to play to the crowd and it will really help out her music career to see how a big time tour happens. For tickets to the upcoming second leg tour click here.

Jonas Brothers ready for In The Round Tour

The Jonas Brothers are getting ready for their upcoming “In the Round” tour as they are excited for the new stage setup and how close they will be to hundreds of fans. With the new setup, more fans will have front row seats to the round setup and be that much closer to the Jonas Brothers!

The tour is for the bands fourth album titled “Lines, Vines and Trying Times,” which is expected to be released on June 16th. Joe Jonas has said that there is a big difference in this album compared to their others ones, but fans will be able to tell how the band is growing and their progression of music is growing.

Miley Cyrus ready to hit the road once again

Miley Cyrus is kicking the “Hannah Montana” gig to the side of the road as she heads out on tour this Summer. As of today, Miley has 43 stops setup that will have her playing in some of the nations largest arenas and cities. Metro Station will open for Miley on every stop in the tour. Metro Station member Trace Cyrus is actually Miley’s brother so that should be pretty interesting.

All Ticket Master tickets for the tour will be Paperless as well. If you are not familiar with Ticket Master paperless tickets, that means you will not receive a hard ticket for the show. When you are ready to enter the arena, you must have everybody in your party that needs to get in for that ticket order be there as the ticket rep scans your credit card that you used to purchase the tickets. It will then give you a little print out and you are on your way!

Your Summer Concert Plans?

It’s finally warming up around the country and that means that the Concert scene is going to really heat up! No matter your type of music, you are sure to find a great tour to take in and that is also the case to matter where you live. Plenty of bands are re-uniting this summer and putting on some big shows while also keeping the ticket prices down due to the economy.

So I have to ask you a few questions. What tickets have you purchased so far and what if any shows do you plan on getting tickets for if you haven’t already bought them? Personally I’m hoping to check out shows by Taylor Swift, Blink182, Metallica and Keith Urban.
