The alternative rock band The Killers have mapped out plans for a US Tour that will back their upcoming “Day & Age” album. Right now the tour has them making stops in 14 cities and it will kick off in Denver on Jan 17th. The group will play a couple of shows in December but they aren’t part of the full blown tour that starts in Jan.

The Killers have been selling out auditoriums and small venues for the past few years. They are still playing a lot of those smaller arenas but they will also be tackling the likes of Madison Square Garden on Jan 25th. It will be interesting if they are able to sell that many tickets to sell the place out.

Heads up James Blunt fans in Canada! Blunt will be kicking off a small Canadian tour in November that will have him stopping in 12 different cities for concerts. Blunt will be touring to his “All the Lost Souls” album as well as a new single that he will be releasing on November 17th.

Good news to all the Aerosmith fans out there as band member Brad Whitford said that the group has plans to hit the road in March of 2009. As of right now, the band would not be performing any new music even though they have part of a album done. Whitford mentioned that he would love to finish the album and be able to play it during the upcoming tour but he just doesn’t see that happening.

Don’t worry however as the band has plenty of hits to play as they have rocked fans for decades. Who knows if this is the last planned tour as the guys are all getting up there in age and doing their own things. You should do your best and try to get tickets once they go on sale either way as they will be putting on a great show!

I’m sure a lot of you already knew that the Blues Traveler traveled quite a bit during the summer as they promoted their newest album North Hollywood Shootout. Now they have released a press release stating that they will be getting back on the tour bus and hitting the roads for a fall tour as well.

The tour will be kicking off on October 16th in New York City and will spread across 26-30 other cities as they travel from coast to coast. As of right now, the last concert is planned to be November 24th in Seattle.

John Legend is ready to kick off his 14 city tour for “Evolver” and he has released the stops that he will be making. The singer’s Columbia Records labelmate, Raphael Saadiq, will provide opening support on all dates.

John Legend is a great R&B singer who has a calm voice but reaches the highest points when needed. He puts on a great show and these shows are in smaller more intimate venues so you will really get to hear how great his voice is. I will be doing my best see him one more time that is for sure.
