Once Korn finishes up with their Family Value Tour, they will be going out and touring for a little bit on their “Problem Tour“.  On tour, Korn has Joey Jordison of Slipknot behind the drum kit and former Sevendust member Clint Lowery joining Shaffer on guitars.

Korn is touring behind its untitled eighth studio album, which hit the streets July 31 and reached No. 2 on The Billboard 200. Frontman Jonathan Davis said in a bio that the set is “about us growing up and our minds opening more.”

The Smashing Pumpkins will be touring for the first time since 2000 in the USA and now they are adding more shows to their current schedule!  The band, which is getting ready to wrap its second tour of Europe this year, is scheduled to kick off a run of US and Canadian dates Sept. 8 at Montreal’s Osheaga Festival. The Pumpkins have also added Los Angeles’ KROQ “L.A. Invasion” show and New Orleans’ Voodoo Music Experience to the itinerary, along with stops in Tucson, AZ; Seattle; and Noblesville, IN. After last weeks announcement that David Lee Roth was coming back with Van Halen and that they would be touring next month and into December, Van Halen fans quickly purchased and sold out many arenas that has prompted the management to add more dates and shows in bigger arenas.

According to tour promoter Live Nation, the band’s previously announced stops in Charlotte, NC; the Detroit area; Toronto; the Chicago area; and Philadelphia sold out shortly after tickets hit the box office. The group has since booked a second show at Philadelphia’s Wachovia Center, a new stop at Detroit’s Joe Louis Arena, and the tour’s first Washington, DC, date. Tickets for the Philly and Detroit shows are scheduled to go on sale Saturday (8/25), while those for the Washington performance will roll out Friday (8/24), according to a press release.

Chris Daughtry and his band have announced that they have added six more stops to their current tour.  Daughtry is mostly playing state fairs as they sing songs from their debut album “Daughtry”.

Chris Daughtry quickly rose to fame last year as a final-four contestant on FOX-TV’s “American Idol.” After being voted off the show, he turned down an offer to replace Fuel’s lead singer and set off on his own career.

The Husband and Wife team of Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez will be teaming up for a hot latin music tour starting on September 29th in Atlantic City.  The tour will hit 14 cities before winding down in early November in Miami, FL.  You sure can expect that Miami show to be off the hook with their huge Latin community.

Singer/actress Lopez and her husband, Grammy-winning singer Anthony, will perform separate sets of their own respective material during the shows, culminating with the pair appearing for another set together, according to a press release. Each will perform songs in both English and Spanish, a nod to the cross-cultural popularity of both performers.

A dollar from each ticket sold will benefit Run for Something Better, a childhood fitness program created by the tour’s sponsor, global financial services company ING. Concertgoers will also have the opportunity to donate to the campaign in person at each venue.
