Willie Nelson expands tour
The dates just keep rolling in for Willie Nelson. The country-music legend, who recently finished a US tour with Merle Haggard and Ray Price to support the trio’s new album, “Last of the Breed,” now has headlining shows that extend into late July.Following gigs this weekend in Oklahoma and Texas, Nelson will take a two-week break and be back April 15 with a five-show run at San Francisco’s Fillmore Auditorium. After a May 5 performance at Indio, CA’s inaugural Stagecoach Festival, the Red-Headed Stranger will take another breather before hitting the East Coast June 11 and then taking off for a string of 10 shows in Canada.
