Daughtry (purchase tickets)the rock band fronted by “American Idol” Top 10 finalist Chris Daughtry, has released a slew of tour dates in support of its platinum-selling, self-titled debut.The tour kicks off Jan. 28 at the House of Blues in Anaheim, CA, and continues through April 19. Chris Daughtry is also scheduled to perform the National Anthem solo Sunday (1/21) in Chicago during the Chicago Bears-New Orleans Saints NFC Championship game.
Daughry’s debut album scored the biggest opening sales week of any new artist in 2006, logging in at No. 2 on The Billboard 200 album chart, according to the group’s publicist. After eight weeks on the charts, it sits at No. 4.
